In My Mailbox 10/31

In My Mailbox and Mailbox Monday are weekly memes by The Story Siren and The Printed Page/She Reads and Reads. These books arrived in the three weeks since I last participated:

1. Their First Noel by Annie Jones

My buddy Annie Jones guest blogged this week about her new release and I'm so excited about it. If you'd like to win my copy (sorry, you have to wait until I finish reading it) you can leave a comment today on this post.

2. The Convenient Groom by Denise Hunter

I recently finished Seaside Letters by Denise Hunter and decided I needed to put this author on my must read list.

3. Pearl in the Sand by Tessa Afshar

I am outrageously late reading this book. It was for the October Christian Fiction Book Club hosted by Gina at Hott Books. All I can say is sorry, Gina, my post will be up eventually and I'll hop around to everyone's blogs as well.

4. Sons of Thunder by Susan May Warren

This is another Inspy Award nominee that I can't wait to read.

5. Hattaras Girl by Alice J. Wisler

I'm reviewing this one for a book tour in November.

So what's in your mailbox?

  3. I haven't ordered any books in a long time. I either buy them at our local Barnes & Noble or I borrow them from the library. I enjoy seeing what you got though...I do have the Pearl in the Sand ordered at the library. I read a review somewhere and it sounds good!

  4. Looks like some great books! LOVED Sons of Thunder, and I have Pearl in the Sand set aside, which I am really looking forward to reading!

And who are you reviewing Hatteras Girl for? I'm reviewing it for Bethany House, and I can't wait to read it! I loved Rain Song (also by this author), so I just know this one will be good. :)

I've received a lot of military books in the mail this past week to review and giveaway for the "Mondays for the Military" feature on my blog. :) My hope for this next week is that my review copies of Nightingale and maybe Hatteras Girl will come! :D

  5. Thanks Aisle B for stopping by, I'll get over to look at your mailbox too.

Tammy, I've bought less books (but read more) since I've been book blogging. Most of these were free.

Amber-I'm reviewing it for the Christian Fiction Alliance tour. I haven't read Rain Song yet, but it was a free kindle download a couple of weeks ago, so I have it waiting for me. I'll be looking for your Monday in the Military feature. :)

  7. In response to your comment at my blog (figured you'd see it here?) I'm sorry for the spoiler about Linger! but I did mention possible spoilers before I typed the list. It's still a great book & I hope you read it anyway!

  8. Yes, Ginger, I will read it anyway...I'll wait until Forever is released though so I can go right into that one.

It's my fault. You did have a spoiler alert, but I skimmed over that and went right to the list.

Thanks for stopping by, and happy reading. :)
